Pizza Monkey Bread
1/2 cup Olive Oil
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
1 clove Minced Garlic
1/4 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
2 cans (16 oz each) Large Refrigerated Flaky Biscuits or my Biscuit Recipe
2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
20 slices Pepperoni, halved
1/2 cup No Mater Marinara Sauce
Additional No Mater Marinara Sauce warmed for dipping
Preheat oven to 350
In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the oil, seasoning, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Heat on high for 30 seconds in the microwave and let cool slightly.
Cut each biscuit into four pieces and toss in oil mixture
Add cheeses and pepperoni and toss to combine.
Coat a bunt pan or fluted tube pan with cooking spray. Layer half of the biscuit mix, 1/4 cup marinara sauce and repeat layers
Bake for approximately 40 minutes or until golden brown
Loosen with a spatula and invert onto a serving plate
Serve with additional sauce for dipping.
